Four CROOKS and counting!

President Barack Obama’s nominee to be U.S. Trade Representative has agreed to pay nearly $10,000 in back taxes after a Senate panel vetting his nomination questioned him about his filings. A former Dallas mayor who has been working as a lawyer and lobbyist, Kirk is the fourth administration appointee to be called out for tax problems.

Now its three crooks!

When Obama announced Nancy Killefer to much fanfare in early January, The Associated Press reported that the District of Columbia government had filed a $946.69 tax lien on her home in 2005 for failure to pay unemployment compensation tax on household help. She resolved the tax error five months after the lien was filed.

Killefer, an executive with consulting giant McKinsey & Co., had been chosen by Obama to serve in two roles: as the first chief performance officer in a White House and as a deputy director at the Office of Management and Budget.

Media Bias Overt

Ok, I’ve been silent long enough. The media is totally bias and unfair.

Headlines 4 Years Ago:
"Republicans spending $42 million on inauguration while troops Die in unarmored Humvees""Bush extravagance exceeds any reason during tough economic times""Fat cats get their $42 million inauguration party, Ordinary Americans get the shaft"

Headlines Now:
"Historic Obama Inauguration will cost only $120 million""Obama Spends $120 million on inauguration; America Needs A Big Party""Everyman Obama shows America how to celebrate""Citibank executives contribute $8 million to Obama Inauguration"

Tonight on ABC news reporting about the war in Iraq … suddenly everything is peaches and cream in Iraq. Things are going great … even talking about the war being over! In less than three weeks, the war has gone from disastrous and the people of Iraq hating us to the war is progressing so well it might be over and the people of Iraq loving us???

Nothing like fair & unbiased coverage of the news !!!

Oh, and did I mention that while Obama hosted a wine and dine Super Bowl party our dear friends in Kentucky suffered through a massive ice storm which had widespread outages and deaths? Did you read about that in the news? CNN doesn’t even have it on their ‘latest news’ on their website.

Oh, and what about the two new men to lead in our nations leadership cabinet? Tom Daschle pleaded his case Monday evening in a closed meeting with former Senate colleagues after publicly apologizing for failing to pay more than $120,000 in taxes. President Barack Obama said he was "absolutely" sticking with his nominee for health secretary to the congress who only last week confirmed Timothy Geithner as treasury secretary despite his separate tax-payment problems. His tax problems were that he didn’t pay his taxes! Two cabinet post – two crooks.

Over the past eight years the Democrats would not even pass the nominations of many of Bush’s appointments who were outstanding men and women of integrity.

It’s amazing that the media loves Obama with the same zealous passion it hated Bush.

Time will tell

The Election is over. The popular vote has been counted. Obama has won. A new day has dawned. History has been made. Now it will be time to see what happens. One thing that needs to happen is that Christians had better keep praying! While not to be redundant, it’s what Obama stands for and what he has said he would do that is frightening!

Obama has said that he will repel the ‘defense of marriage act’. He has also said that he would appoint federal judges who ‘rule with empathy toward the weak, less fortunate, or historically disenfranchised.’ He also has said he supports gay rights and same sex marriage. He is for the ‘fairness doctrine’. If enforced, it will change the voice and influence of every Bible believing Christian in witness, business, speech and church. If enforced, Born-again evangelicals who chose to vote for Obama will suddenly realize that they have ushered in the spirit of the anti-Christ with one check of the pen.

The media has said that race was not a factor. Partly true, mostly false. For whites, voting for a African American man was not a problem. Many did. That is true. I would have also IF he had displayed a conscience for Biblical values. But not so from the African American side. Many African Americans voted for Obama because he was African American. That is racial. Forsaking moral issues and the fact that Obama is the most extreme liberal ever … Ask this question to your friends, “Would Obama have won if he was white considering his liberal views?” More than likely not. We will never know. But all this is not the real issue here. History was made and I am glad that we can vote in an African American President! The issues are not about race, but about values, beliefs, morals and principles.

Look at how the media has tried to demoralize and demean Sarah Palin. Their strategy? Give her the Dan Quayle treatment. Make her look like a simpleton; one that is out of touch with main stream America. Criticize her hair style, her clothes, her motherhood, her make-up, her speech and accent, and values. Make her look like a liability. Make subjective statements that most women did not vote for her. Makes one wonder if the media sees her as a threat to their future ideology propaganda.

I take strength in the fact that my hope is in the Lord, the maker of Heaven and earth. I am not a Christian because of who is or who is not president, how good or bad the economy, or whether or not we have freedom of speech. I am a Christian BECAUSE of what Jesus did for me on the Cross. My hope is in the Lord!

Absentee Voting

Alright, I don't get it. What's with this election and absentee voting??? Said on the news tonight that some states are keeping their polling stations open 4-6 longer each day to Accommodate. Accommodate what? I thought you had to have a 'good' reason to vote early. Like being away in another state for college. Or going out of the country for work. Somebody must have changed to law. On the news they are showing long lines of voters coming out early to vote. Where are they going on November 4th? Something just doesn't smell right in this ruckus.

Speaking of which ... who is going to sort out the mess with ACORN? Looks like we will need to have a third world country overseeing our election soon to make sure there is no fraud! Well duh .... we look over the shoulder of everyone else to make sure they are fair and square and here we are guilty as sin. In case you haven't figured it out yet, our country has turned a corner of moral ineptness. Adeios to the good ole days of honest and integrity.

Sarah Palin Rally

On Monday, October 13th, I had the opportunity along with my good friend and co-partner, Pastor Chris Swortzel, to go to Richmond Virginia to see and hear Gov. Sarah Palin give a speech. What impressed me the most? Several things. The politeness and respectability of the crowd. No pushing or shoving. No tempers, very little trash even though tens of thousands were straining to get a glimpse of Gov. Paliln. They were even polite to the hecklers who showed up. Second, after the pledge of allegiance to the flag, there was a public prayer for the event, our nation and the candidates! This was really special in the face of the fact that just last week the VA State Police banned prayer from their workplace using the name of 'Jesus' or 'Christ'! Third, the character, humility and posture of Sarah Palin. Honoring her husband, God and her children along with her pledge to honor life and biblical values was refreshing.

I had to keep reminding myself that this was indeed a public political event!
