Qualifications to be President

Much energy has been wasted over whether or not a person is qualified to be President of the United States. There are only two criteria stated in the US Constitution:

1. Only native-born U.S. citizens (or those born abroad, but only to parents who were both citizens of the U.S.) And one must live in the United States for at least 14 years to be president, in addition to being a natural-born citizen.

2. One must also be at least 35 years of age to be president.

So the two valid questions would be: How old are you (maybe that is why we have never had a woman on the ticket before) and where were you born? The other obvious ability would be to convince the public to vote for you.

Congratulations to Sarah Palin. She is qualified to be on the ticket.
